Privacy Notice

1. Who we are

We collect as little as we can, use it only to answer you, and never sell it.

This notice explains how Ember Venture Group Pte. Ltd. (“Ember”, “we”), a company incorporated in Singapore with its registered office at 68 Circular Road, #02-01, Singapore 049422, handles personal data collected through embergroup.ai, including our chat assistants, inquiry forms and the Anominal BioFoundry demo. We are the organization responsible for that data under Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 and, where they apply, other data protection laws.

2. What we collect

• What you send us. Messages you type into a chat assistant, and the details you give when you book a call or use the written form: typically your name, work email, organization, role and a short description of your needs.
• Site analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not track you across sites. It records aggregated page views and a few events, such as starting a chat or sending a form.
• Technical data. Our hosting provider processes your IP address and browser details to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We use IP addresses briefly to limit repeated requests.
• What stays in your browser. Your chat conversation is kept in your browser tab’s session storage so it survives a page reload; it is cleared when you close the tab or choose Start over. The BioFoundry demo records your acceptance of these terms in your browser’s local storage. The demo itself runs entirely in your browser on synthetic data.

3. Our chat assistants

The assistants on our consulting and Anominal pages are AI systems, not people. To write each reply, your messages are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, under its commercial terms, which do not allow your messages to be used to train its models. Ember does not store your conversation on its servers.

If you choose to book a call, the assistant prepares a short brief of your conversation. That brief, your name and your work email are emailed to our principals and passed to our scheduling provider so you can pick a time. Nothing is sent to us unless you book.

Please do not share passwords, financial account details, personal data about other people or confidential business information in a chat. Keep specifics for a call, under a mutual non-disclosure agreement if needed.

4. How we use it

• To reply to you, prepare for a conversation and schedule it.
• To understand which pages and features help visitors, in aggregate.
• To keep the site secure and prevent abuse.
• To meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data, use it for advertising, or make automated decisions about you with legal or similar effect.

5. Service providers

We share personal data only with providers that help us run the site, under contracts that limit their use of it:

6. How long we keep it

We keep inquiry and booking details for as long as we are in conversation or working together, and for a reasonable period afterwards to keep accurate business records. Analytics are kept in aggregate. Our AI provider retains chat messages only for a limited period for safety and abuse monitoring.

7. Your choices and rights

You can use the site without giving us any personal data. You may ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you may withdraw any consent you have given. Write to admin@embergroup.ai and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the European Union, United Kingdom or another jurisdiction with similar laws, you may also have the right to object to processing, to data portability and to complain to your local data protection authority.

8. International transfers

Our providers may process personal data in the United States and other countries. Where we transfer data outside Singapore, we take steps to ensure it receives protection comparable to that required by Singapore law.

9. Security

We use encrypted connections, limit access to the people who need it, and choose providers with established security practices. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you as the law requires.
